We transform lives and perceptions by exploring, and sharing knowledge on culture, gender, and religion. Our efforts use culture to bridge the personal and the social. We conduct research, offer trainings and create educational content. We enhance cultural understanding and intercultural and interreligious dialogue in communities, organizations, and broader society, as well as inspire journeys of self-discovery. We work to remythologize and animate the world around us, helping personal and societal change by unpacking the symbolic depth of objects, self and reality.

Our new book is out now!

SYMBOLS AND MYTH-MAKING IN MODERNITY:
DEEP CULTURE IN ART AND ACTION

Every body is a symbol, every thing is a symbol, every action is a symbol. What do these symbols mean and how are they important in our lives? This book proposes a framework to understand how symbols are woven into myths that surround us and by means of which we perceive and make sense of our world. We describe a logic of that myth – a mythology for our time. Departing from popular misconceptions of myths as mere falsehoods, and unpacking the deeper truths they seek to express, the book describes why and how we should understand them and the symbols they encode.
